KopernikDaVinci PROJECT

City campaign done in collaboration with Toruń City Hall (led by Aleksandra Iżycka) and Krzysztof Czyżewski (book author of “Ostrakon”).

The project revolves around Leonardo da Vinci and Nicola Copernicus - two monumental Renaissance thinkers. It delves into the idea of two of them meeting and invites the viewer to familiarise themselves with the legacy of the cities that had cradled them: Vinci and Toruń.

The main aim of the brief was creating posters and merchandise that were playful, colourful and inviting.

Railcard design - Karta JO

The original KopernikDaVinci project expanded into a collaboration with Toruń's City Transport Company. The original Copernicus illustration was used in a new transport railcard design for the city of Toruń.

Logo Design

Alongside new branding, the project entailed creating a new logo for Toruń's City Transport Company.

The new logo shows Nicola Copernicus with a map pin incorporated into his beret, alongside the name (JO) and subtitle (Toruńska Karta Miejska, trans. Toruń's City Railcard).
